We are taking this operation into multimedia mode, bitches! Welcome to our very first episode! It’s an interview with Vanessa Barg, the woman behind the raw vegan chocolate company Gnosis Chocolate. From her headquarters in NYC, I spoke to Vanessa about how her company came to be, and how the chocolate is made. Look for part 2 to come very soon!

Gnosis Chocolate is available nationwide and via mail order. In San Francisco, you can find it at Rainbow and Whole Foods.

I was able to sample three flavors of Gnosis: simplicity, superfood, and pomegranate açai. They were all really good. If you’re a hardcore, 70-percent-cacao-and-up kind of chocolate person, I would recommend simplicity. If you like sweet, then pomegranate açai—which Vanessa told me was the most popular flavor—and if your preference falls in between, then superfood. She has a whole variety of flavors, so even the pickiest person can find something.
