Hey you! The one complaining about how there’s no real activism in San Francisco! This is your chance to remedy all that: come to the Activist Showcase! It’s on Saturday Feb. 6 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the SF SPCA (243 Alabama St. at 16th Street in the Mission). There will be networking and noshing! There will be sharing, requesting, and inspiring! There will be connecting, collaborating, and creating! SYNERGY!
I went last year and it was a great event; you learn about the exciting things other activists are doing and how to get involved. If you have a project that’s near and dear to your heart, you can find people here to connect with. The more people who attend, the better it is for everyone, especially the animals. Which is why we’re all here, right? Oh, I’m here to bitch about menu changes too, but you know, some real activism never hurt anybody. If you want to speak at the event about something you’d like to get collaborators for, email Josephine and let her know! If not, SEE Y’ALL THERE!
