Sarah of Ordinary Vegetarian made a splendid cranberry-orange tart with walnuts and a chocolate crust, and would like to share the recipe with you! Did you know Sarah has been vegan since the beginning of the year? It’s nearly her first veganniversary! Hooray!

San Franciscans Jenn and Heather spent Christmas in Barcelona this year! For lunch, they made garbanzo bean and chorizo tacos with fresh salsa and homemade tortillas—all of it from scratch! Felices fiestas to you two, too!

This was reader JL’s first vegan Christmas! On the plate you can see veggie “meat” loaf, smashed sweet potatoes, mushroom and apple dressing, and sauteed spinach. JL has recipes for all her dishes, as well as loads more photos, on her site, JL Goes Vegan! Check out that lightbox, it’s fantastic!

Janet Hudson of Vegan Feast (and Project Just Desserts!) spent a quiet Christmas with her husband and this great spread. From left: beetroot and kale; wasabi mashed potatoes; fried mushrooms; lavender Brussels sprouts with clementines; pumpkin pie tarts (behind the wine!); and Asian tempeh stuffing with cherries. Beautiful!
