It’s time once again to veganize BART! »
Last year your votes helped place some great ads from the Factory Farming Awareness Coalition on BART. Now you can help FFAC get a new round of free BART advertising this year by voting again via the BART Blue Sky program Facebook poll.
Voting closes on Sunday, May 12, and the top three finishers will receive $50,000 worth of BART ads in stations and onboard trains. All voters can also enter to win a $500 Clipper card.

BART Blue Sky wants your vote! Let’s help veganize BART! »
Vegansaurus loves public transportation! Sometimes in theory, mostly in practice. Some of us spend upward of seven hours a week on public transportation, half of that on good old, smelly old BART. And yes, we have our music and yes, we have our reading material and yes, we have our people-watching, but what we could really use are some non-insane onboard ads. (Insanity Wolf for Kixeye was funny the first time only.) Here is your chance to help us make things nicer for us and the animals, hooray!
BART Blue Sky is holding an ad contest to benefit one of their nonprofit partners, which include the Coalition to Fight Factory Farming, the Center for Urban Education about Sustainable Agriculture, Earth Justice, and the San Francisco Vegetarian Society. All you have to do is vote, via Facebook, for the nonprofit of your choice, and you could win a $500 Clipper card, a folding bike, or a $100 BART card. And if you don’t want those things, maybe vote anyway, because the three nonprofits that get the most votes will win nearly $45,000 worth of free advertising space on BART!
One vote per person, and the contest is open through May 4. Tell your friends! Vote for some awesome vegans!
