Oatmeal Risotto with Peas and Lemon Zest!? It’s RISOTTO made with OATMEAL!? I don’t know, I’m into it. Ai of If Martha Was Vegan is usually dead-on with her recipes, so I’m just gonna trust her. Let’s get inventive on oatmeal’s ass, what do we have to lose? BESIDES POUNDS! JK, never change!
It’s a vegan asparagus casserole from Vegalicious! It looks really good and also kinda gross (in a good way), which Megan Rascal points out is kinda how casseroles are. Girl, preach! We both think it could be improved by the addition of crushed Corn Flakes on top, or perhaps Tater Tots? Or some of those fried onions from a can? When I eat a casserole, I just basically want to eat a big pile of starch, cream, and fry. LADIES AM I RIGHT??
What is that, you ask? Well, it’s only Pumpkin Seed Mylk! Crazy, right!? And fucking awesome! Of course I found this while cruising recipe porn this morning on the glorious Choosing Raw. Gena is like, the most inspirational. She makes me want to be a better person without hating the person that I am. That is a rare quality in a person! And especially a blogger! Anyway, cruise all her awesome raw (and a few cooked! See, Gena is all about moderation!) recipes and tell me you don’t love her too. Plus, PUMPKIN SEED MYLK!! Let’s do this, autumn.
I just want to take a moment to talk about how much I love Vegan Crunk. It’s the super freshest flyest blog around and I want to MARRY IT. Everything that’s on that site makes me want to lick my screen (this photo is from a post dedicated to vegan ramen OMG YES) and anyway, I just love, love, love it. More Vegan Crunk! Less Omnivore Funk! <- May I suggest that for the new Vegan Crunk motto? Free of charge, people! Come to me for all your slogan needs, I’m outta control!
