It’s Sweet Avenue’s Thanksgiving desserts! They made pumpkin cheesecake and a sweet potato pie cupcake topped with Sweet & Sara marshmallows, with a side of Chicago Soy Dairy pumpkin ice cream! Oh deliciousness!

Happy Thanksgiving from Allison, who writes, “This is what I lovingly call my ‘5 lb. food baby.’ Field Roast and homemade gravy in the middle surrounded by so many veganized classics! We hosted this year which means all 16 of us celebrated cruelty free!” That is a lot of vegan eating, congratulations, Allison!
Happy Thanksgiving from Jessy of Happy Vegan Face! She enjoyed a gluten-free Thanksgiving feast, which included “gluten-free stuffing stuffed onions, walnut-brown rice-flour-crusted tempeh, roasted green beans with fried shallots, and roasted garlic smashed potatoes topped with Desdemona’s best (ever!) mushroom gravy (tweaked to be gluten-free).” Looks and sounds absolutely delicious, Jessy!
Happy Thanksgiving from Aimee! Her plate consists of, “clockwise from top: Tal Ronnen’s sweet potato biscuits, glazed onions and brussels sprouts from Vegan Holiday Kitchen, Mac Daddy from Veganomicon, Field Roast Hazelnut Cranberry Roast En Croute with savory mushroom gravy, scalloped potatoes with tempeh bacon, rosemary roasted mushrooms from Vegan Holiday Kitchen, and holiday cranberry sauce from Veganomicon.
Happy Thanksgiving from Erin of Vegan Homemade! Her beautiful plate is holding “Field Roast, homemade bread, stuffing, braised greens, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce.” Oh, delicious.
Happy Thanksgiving from Scrumptious S of In My Box, whose omnivorous family created an entirely vegan, gluten-free meal, as Scrumptious S herself was too sick to cook. What a lovely family! She says that “on the plate, clockwise from the top left (it looks kinda skimpy, but that’s because the plate is actually like a foot and a half across): Mashed rutabagas and celery root, homemade cranberry sauce, rutabagas and celery root with tarragon “butter” and GF breadcrumbs, mashed potatoes, sauteed kale with garlic, sweet potato and banana casserole with pomegranate seeds (recipe), pumpkin curry with cashews, and in the center, red quinoa salad with corn and avocado.”
We might all take a moment to feel thankful for our accommodating dining companions, this time of year.
Happy Thanksgiving from reader Dan, who writes that “13 vegan, vegetarian, and vegan-friendly people enjoyed this all-vegan feast! We invented a new holiday. It’s called “Thanks again” and it happens May 24, six months from now—because it’s too good to only do this once a year!
Here we have a delicious plate of Tofurky, maple-chipotle-pomegranate glazed Field Roast, butternut squash chestnut soup with balsamic pears on top, pumpkin cranberry risotto, wild rice stuffing, fig-pomegranate cranberry sauce, yams with Dandies marshmallows, green bean casserole, classic stuffing, mashed potatoes, mashed ginger-coconut sweet potatoes, garlicky Brussels sprouts, two kinds of gravy, artichoke dip with tortilla chips.”
This group knows how to eat! Your tables must have been groaning. You have definitely earned your Vegansaurus gluttony badge this year.
