» WHOA! The Senate does something right AGAIN! This time for awesome SHARKS!

Remember when they banned crush videos? And then Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell was awesomely repealed? Our legislature is on a roll with Making Things Happen! I wasn’t sure I’d live to see the day!!! 

Just yesterday the Senate just passed a bill that restricts REPULSIVE and HORRIFIC shark finning in U.S. waters! Now the House has to approve it because of some of the Senate’s changes to it, but this will most likely not be a problem and YES! Meave wrote up some good stuff on this earlier in the year and anyway, this is very good news. Yay, sharks! You are the best! Except stay the fuck away from me! I know the number of humans killed each year via shark attacks is crazy-low but still, I stay the fuck out of the ocean because it’s for THEM, not for me. If you go into any body of water, be it an ocean or pool, be prepared to die in the jaws of a Jaws. Just as the woods are for serial killers and bears, the ocean is for sharks. It’s just as simple as that.
