CoraLlei: Beautiful vegan handbags! »
Everyone, I’m in love! Don’t worry, it’s not with a person—my emotional wall is still intact. I’m in love with these super-lovable vegan purses from CoraLlei! From Irish designer Lorna Burton, these bags aren’t just beautiful, they are also environmentally friendly:
Conscious of the environmental and social impact of her designs, Lorna Burton’s CoraLlei collection places paramount importance on ethics and sustainability. She uses only sustainable fabrics, packaging, textiles and manufacturing techniques where possible.
Ranging from €220 to €390, I won’t be owning one of these anytime soon (dang U.S. dollar!), but it’s nice to dream. Which is your favorite? Tell me!
Cri de Coeur and 7 For All Mankind together? Vegan fashion dreams do come true! »
Look what I just saw on Cri de Coeur’s FB page! This bag:
With this announcement:
CRI DE COEUR for 7 For All Mankind sustainable vegan cross body bag launches this month!!!!
The bag is ethically sourced and produced using high quality Italian vegan leather, will be sold exclusively at the 7 For all Mankind flagship stores starting mid October. Since both parties wanted to create an affordable sustainable timeless item, the retail price will be under $100.
OMG the heavens are aligning! There HAS to be a 7 For All Mankind flagship store in NY, right? Sustainable and less than $100 (seriously, under $100 from these people?!)? Yes please!
Side note: who is your dream vegan fashion+regular fashion label pairing? I’m thinking Pucci and Beyond Skin. That would blow my mind.
Ooh fancy! Ecouterre’s got the story on Collina Strada for KAIGHT’s Cartella messenger bag made from recycled canvas and vegan leather, dyed with eco inks—it’s manufactured in New York City, and 10 percent of KAIGHT’s profits from the sale of this and the other two bags in the line will benefit Brooklyn’s BARC Animal Shelter.
Man, environmentally friendly leather alternatives, awesome prints, made in the U.S.A.—everything about these bags is right.*
*Or at least this one, the other two aren’t in shapes I super-love, but I don’t have money so my opinion is moot. This one is hot, anyway!
The vegan dopeness: five faux-leather messenger bags »
What’s not to like about a messenger bag?! Besides the boob-divider thing. But some people find that attractive! I’m not saying you should fill these with PBR and hop on your bike, but they are all cross-body bags and they are all dope. This Espe one from Alternative Outfitters is what inspired my round-up today:
So professory! And at one point or another, everyone wants to bang a professor.
This next one is also from Alternative Outfitters, the Luella by Shiraleah:
I’m in love with this bag, goddang it! And I don’t care who knows! I’m a big fan of Shiraleah, I have one of their wallets and it RULES.
Here’s a hot Matt and Nat number from Mooshoes:
I like odd, shapely pockets. That’s also how I like my men, BTDubs.
Also from Mooshoes, the Strap Hanger bag from Tano:
LOTS OF POCKETS. That’s how you know how important someone is, by how many pockets they need. And keys.
Lastly, here’s a mini messenger from Beg for a Bag on Etsy:
I don’t feel super-confident about the quality of this one but sometimes you just want some damn pleather.
There you have it! Five faux-leather messenger bags curated by yours truly. Dishes are done.
