New York! It’s time for the first Vegan Drinks of the season, tonight from 7 to 10 at Fontana’s Bar!
March’s event benefits Darwin Animal Doctors, which “provides comprehensive veterinary care for the animals of the Galapagos Islands.” Your donations buy raffle tickets to win prizes including a Lush gift set, handmade jewelry from the Galapagos, and Darwin Animal Doctors shirts.
There’ll also be food for purchase from Monk’s Meats. The menu will include pineapple pesto and purple potato onion vegan pizza bread, and curry and pot pie-flavored hot pockets (plus one more!).

Above is the menu for Vegan Drinks tonight—looks good to me! Word is there will also be gluten-free injera so I think some will be stoked about that. And yours truly will be spinning records along with my new BFF DJ Grand Format. So come on down!

What’s up NYC? November Vegan Drinks is happening on Thursday! »
Get your butts over to Fontana’s Bar at 105 Eldridge from 7 to 10 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29, to party with the coolest vegans in the metro area, including (but not limited to) your own Megan Rascal on the ones and twos! Plus “Southern-style breakfast foods” (be still my heart) from Heirloom Vegan Eatery, and raffle prizes with proceeds benefitting Friends of Animals. You can’t lose, New York!

SF Vegan Drinks is tomorrow night! It’s your monthly chance to meet your fellow Bay Area vegans in the (cruelty-free) flesh. Check out that menu! Are fried beets any good? I mean, duh, what fried food isn’t good, but still! Beets!

It’s the last Thursday of the month, and you know what that means? SF Vegan Drinks!
Our peeps from Mission Mission went last time and the strawberry basil caipirinha looked super refreshing! Plus, Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem has a back deck — that’s always fun in warm weather! Go get your vegan network on, with sweet potato tots and sliders.

SF vegan drinks is tonight! See you there! »
Let’s do this, peeps. I’m feeling really confident this week, so maybe I’ll talk to strangers! I think it’s called networking? But I probably won’t; I like people to come to me so I can act awkward and blush a lot, all the while being a little bit overexcited. Winning mix, right? Let’s hang.
SF Vegan Drinks happens tonight, Thursday, May 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, 2323 Mission St. at 19th.
Drink specials are strawberry basil caipirinhas, $3 bottled beer, $4 well drinks, and $5 vegan white Russians! Featured vegan food includes sweet potato tater tots, beer battered onion rings, veggie burgers, and vegan summer sliders. Try not to make the same mistake I did last time and eat all of it in one sitting. The only thing I was acquainted with that night was the toilet.
Confidential to VegLovr: I saw that comment in the last SF Vegan Drinks post, and I think you and I were made for each other, no joke.

S.F. Vegan Drinks is Tonight! »
Hey you sexy San Francisco beasts! It’s time for Vegan Drinks! Silly me, I forgot to post last month, which also means I forgot to go. Easy solution — I’ll just make up for lost time this month! Problem solved; let’s do this!
I can’t wait to see all of your fancy rain gear. Maybe you can give me tips on how to dress for rainy weather? I own an umbrella and that is it—no rainboots or slicker—what is wrong with me? I’m just miserable and wet, all the time! Seeing your faces will cheer me right up, and also I need to forget that I am sad about missing Grey’s Anatomy (all the best shows are on Thursday nights!). No one said being a social butterfly was easy.

And there’s going to be a DJ playing punk and hip hop! Who isn’t me! So s/he will probably be competent with the sound system! That’s always nice in a DJ. I will be there too, ready to party. Make sure you say hi to me! I don’t know that many NYC vegans and I’m bashful.
